Van Traa's lawyers are specialists in the field of International Trade , Transport & Logistics and Insurance & Liability. Our clients are national and international companies, such as trading houses, transport and transshipment companies, financial service providers such as banks, brokers and insurers, airlines, construction and contracting companies and shipping companies.

At Van Traa we try to get to the heart of the legal problem quickly and accurately and then create clarity for our clients. Making things clear , that is what we do at Van Traa. Our office has around 30 lawyers. On the one hand, a size that enables us to tackle major issues with a specialized team. On the other hand, a size that makes it possible to remain flexible and to build good mutual relationships through which experience and specialist (sector) knowledge can be shared and transferred.

Our lawyers are active in science and are therefore well-informed about the latest developments within the various jurisdictions and make practical use of this knowledge. Our lawyers therefore meet the requirements set by the Dutch Bar Association. This is evidenced by the registration in various areas of law (specialisms) in the register of areas of law of the Dutch Bar Association.
